LD SUPPORT WORKER (NO EXPERIENCE) APPLY NOW FOR AN INTERVIEW SLOT! IDEALLY WILL BE A CAR DRIVER, BUT LOCAL NON DRIVERS WHO CAN COMMUTE TO EASTLEIGH WILL BE CONSIDERED EASTLEIGH AREA This role is for someone who is passionate about helping Learning Disabilities clients and may have some personal experience and is now keen to do it professionally as a career. Up to 42 hour contract + overtime available £9.88 - 10.08 per hour. Sleep in rate is £8.72 per hour Must be flexible to do earlies, lates, some sleep ins, and some weekend work. Fantastic training provided Career progression and NVQ's paid for As a LD Support Worker, you will be supporting a service user with Learning Disabilities, Autism and some mild challenging behaviour in their own home. The service user is independent, very active and will be accessing the community. A LD Support Worker will be providing general support at home, helping the service user access the community for leisure, employment and educational opportunities. There is no personal care, but the service user will need prompting to do things. LD Support workers are committed to enabling the people they support to live the lives they want; lives which are fulfilling, meaningful and happy. This could be day to day support including medicine, community help like shopping, activities like cinema or working alongside them in the communal areas. Other areas can involve cooking, assisting living and dealing with mild challenging behaviour and non verbal communication. What is the job?
