Sleep in rate is £8.72 per hour Must be flexible to do earlies, lates, some sleep ins, and some weekend work. Occasional waking nights for 1 client. There are two new clients of theirs moving into the area and now there are exciting opportunities for LD Support Workers to join one of the teams. An LD Support Worker will be providing general support at home, helping the service user access the community for leisure, employment and educational opportunities. There is no personal care, but the service user will need prompting to do things. LD Support workers are committed to enabling the people they support to live the lives they want; lives which are fulfilling, meaningful and happy. This could be day to day support including medicine, community help like shopping, activities like cinema or working alongside them in the communal areas. Other areas can involve cooking, assisting living and dealing with challenging behaviour and non verbal communication. What is the job?
