RECRUITMENT DAY MONDAY AND TUESDAY - 10TH AND 11TH AUGUST - EASTLEIGH

LEARNING DIFFICULTIES SUPPORT WORKERS NEEDED FOR NEW CLIENTS

New clients moving into Eastleigh area fantastic opportunity for experienced or non-experienced candidates.

Full time Permanent 42-hour contract + overtime available (8am to 4pm, 4pm to 11pm, 11pm to 8am).

£9.88 - £10.08 per hour. Sleep in rate is £8.72 per hour (1 week maybe required) or if waking nights full rate applies.

Rate of pay reflects experience.

Car driver preferred however applicants in Eastleigh area will still be considered

We are currently recruiting for our clients with highly rated, Learning Difficulties Support. The candidates we require will need to have a passion for helping others and actively want to help our clients service users to live fulfilling, healthy and happy lives.

This could suit somebody interested to become a support worker i.e. somebody with personal experience but not professional. If you are caring and can explain in an interview why you want to join the industry this could be for you.

Every day is different you could be day to day support including medicine, community help like shopping, activities like cinema or working alongside them with occupation needs and support. Other areas can involve cooking, assisting living and dealing with challenging behaviour and possibly nonverbal communication.

You will need to be available on 4th August as they are conducting all interviews at their head office and decisions made on the day.

The ideal Learning Difficulties Support Workers:

  • Have exceptional communication skills
  • Ensure the service users are supported at all times, promoting a safe and happy lifestyle
  • Work well under pressure
  • Have previous professional experience in this role or a care role
  • Know and understand nonverbal communication and challenging behaviour
  • Work well with an elite and dynamic team
