Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to oversee our client's Nursery based near Skipton on a full time, permanent basis.
Deputy Nursery Manager Responsibilities
- Assist in managing, mentoring, and supporting nursery staff. Ensure staff adhere to nursery policies and maintain a high standard of practice.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Tailor activities to meet individual children’s needs and promote their development.
- Oversee the implementation of safeguarding procedures, health, and safety standards to ensure a safe and secure environment for both children and staff.
- Help with managing daily operations, including finances, regulatory compliance, record-keeping, and assisting with inspections.
- Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and involving them in the nursery’s activities.
As the Deputy Nursery Manager, we are looking for someone who has:
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- 3 years’ experience in Childcare
- First Aid trained
