Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursery Manager to oversee our client's Nursery based in Brislington Bristol on a full time, permanent basis.
Nursery Manager Responsibilities
- Assist in managing, mentoring, and supporting nursery staff. Ensure staff adhere to nursery policies and maintain a high standard of practice.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Tailor activities to meet individual children’s needs and promote their development.
- Oversee the implementation of safeguarding procedures, health, and safety standards to ensure a safe and secure environment for both children and staff.
- Help with managing daily operations, including finances, regulatory compliance, record-keeping, and assisting with inspections.
- Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and involving them in the nursery’s activities.
As the Nursery Manager, we are looking for someone who has:
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- 3 years’ experience in Childcare
- First Aid trained
- 31 Days annual leave, including Bank Holidays and 3 Extra days off for Christmas.
- Wellbeing day – Extra day off
