Salary:  From £40,000per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no weekends or bank holidays)

We’re seeking a Registered Manager to join our dedicated team for a 12-month maternity cover. You’ll lead a committed group of care professionals who pride themselves on delivering exceptional support to adults living with dementia, mental health conditions, and complex needs.

This welcoming 18-bed residential home (including one twin room) offers a warm, homely environment where residents are truly known and cared for as individuals.
We provide high-quality residential and dementia care, supported by a long-standing and loyal staff team. Our small scale allows for genuine connections, personalised care, and a family-like atmosphere.

Located in beautiful Southbourne, the home benefits from easy access to local amenities, transport links, and the beach. Facilities include a lovely garden, communal lounge, on-site parking, Wi-Fi, and in-house laundry and kitchen facilities.

💼 Registered Manager Role

As the Registered Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for leading the team and ensuring that the home continues to meet and exceed CQC and company standards.
You’ll be supported by a strong, established team and encouraged to bring your ideas, energy, and expertise to maintain the home’s reputation for excellence.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing effective leadership and management across care, administration, and facilities teams.
  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC and all statutory regulations.
  • Maintaining outstanding standards of care within budget parameters.
  • Promoting person-centred care and a culture of respect, dignity, and empowerment.
  • Supporting and developing your team through mentoring and performance management.
  • Managing occupancy levels and championing the service within the local community.
  • Handling challenges with professionalism and empathy.

Registered Manager We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a care home setting.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid understanding of CQC regulations and best practice in social care.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues with confidence and compassion.
