Key Responsibilities
- Promote high standards of care and education within the nursery
- Support and supervise playroom staff in their daily duties
- Deploy staff to ensure standards are maintained
- Oversee key person procedures and allocate children to key carers appropriately
- Ensure practice meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Provide professional feedback to parents and carers
- Build positive working relationships with staff and families
- Promote the nursery to current and prospective families
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education
