The Role of the Care Assistant

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, and meal times.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a warm and positive environment.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the care home.
• Support residents to participate in recreational activities and maintain their independence where possible.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure residents’ needs are met.
• A real passion for helping others and a genuine interest in the lives of the residents we support.
