Community Care Team Leader – Evenings

Partnering with a Reputable Home Care Provider
Care First is partnering with a respected home care provider who is now seeking a Community Care Team Leader to join their dedicated team. This is a predominantly evening-based role, offering the chance to lead and support a committed group of Community Care Assistants while playing a key part in delivering high-quality care across the local community.
About the Role:
As the Community Care Team Leader, you will:
- Lead, guide and advise a team of Community Care Assistants
- Play an essential role in the assessment team
- Support smooth transitions when welcoming new service users
- Carry out some hands-on care responsibilities and community assessments
- Maintain high standards in line with CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures
- Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 4 weekends)
Hours:
- Monday to Friday – Evenings only
- 4pm–10pm (Potential to start earlier, e.g., 2pm or 3pm, depending on desired hours)
- Contracts available at 18, 24, or up to 34 hours per week
Pay Rates:
- Weekday hourly rate: £13.10
- Weekend hourly rate: £13.30
- On-call payment: £90 (Friday approx. 3pm – Monday 9am)
- If required to cover calls, normal hourly rate will also apply
- Rates due to increase from April 2026
Requirements:
- Previous domiciliary care experience is essential
- Proven experience in a similar senior or team leader role
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding
- Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Passionate about delivering safe, person-centred care
