Nursery Practitioner
Location: Hitchin
Salary: £25,400 – £30,300 per annum
Contract: Full-time / Part-time
Qualification: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years (Essential)
Care First is partnering with a reputable nursery in Hitchin that is looking for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment, delivering high-quality care and education to children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and maintain high standards of care and education
- Support and supervise playroom staff in their day-to-day duties
- Allocate children to keycarers and ensure effective implementation of keycarer procedures
- Provide professional feedback to parents and carers
- Develop positive and professional relationships with staff, children, and families
- Ensure the nursery meets all regulatory, health, and safety standards

Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
