Nursery Team Leader – Burgess Hill
Salary: Up to £28,200 per annum
Qualification: Level 3 Early Years Qualified (Essential)
Are you an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking to take the next step into a leadership role? We are recruiting a dedicated Nursery Team Leader in Burgess Hill to lead a passionate team of early years practitioners, delivering high-quality care and education for children.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the nursery team, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Support staff development and training, providing guidance and mentorship
- Maintain high standards of care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Oversee keycarer allocation and monitor children’s progress
- Conduct regular staff appraisals and provide constructive feedback
- Promote a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the local community
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safeguarding, and health & safety standards
