Deputy Manager – Residential Care Home

£37,000 per annum + benefits

Permanent | Full-time | 40 hours per week

Includes 1–2 care floor shifts and alternate weekends

We are proud to be partnering with a reputable, award-winning care group in their search for a passionate and dedicated Deputy Manager for one of their mid-sized residential care homes based in Waltham Abbey, East London.

About the Role:

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires presence on the floor, with the expectation to cover one to two care shifts per week, including alternate weekends.

What We’re Looking For:

NVQ Level 3 qualified in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

Proven experience in a similar role within a residential care setting, ideally elderly care

Strong understanding of CQC standards and compliance

Confident in developing and maintaining up-to-date care plans to ensure residents enjoy the best possible quality of life

A natural leader – people-focused, proactive, with excellent communication skills

A positive, compassionate attitude, with the ability to lead by example
