DEPUTY RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME MANAGER REQUIRED IN CLOWNE CHESTERFIELD

• COMPETITIVE SALARY £14.00 - £15.00 PER HOUR
• RESIDENTIAL DEMENTIA CARE HOME
• PERMANENT FULL TIME POSITION (40 HOURS PER WEEK)
• X2 12HOUR SHIFTS ‘ON THE FLOOR’ WITH X2 8 HOURS SHIFTS SUPERNUMERARY
• SHIFT TIMES : 7:30AM -19:30

Desired profile for the Deputy Residential Care Home Manager

Your role will be supporting the Manager in the day to day running of the home. This includes deputising in the Manager's absence and responsibility for the direct supervision and line management of staff. You will also be responsible for monitoring and ensuring provision of the highest standards of personal care and service delivery, whilst also promoting privacy, choice and independence.

• NVQ Level 3 or 4 or 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
• Previous or current experience of working in a residential care home in a senior role.
• Experience in providing direct personal care.
• Experience managing a team of care workers.
• Experience in taking responsibility for ensuring that person centred plans for service users are assessed, planned, evaluated and implemented.
• Experience in overseeing and auditing the ordering, safe storage and administration of medication.
• Ability to work unsupervised and to use initiative.
